### **Serious Life-Threatening Issues**

**Call 9-1-1 or go to the ED** right away if you or someone else has:

- Chest pain or trouble breathing
- Severe stomach pain or continuing vomiting
- Broken bones or dislocated joints
- Deep cuts, major burns, or heavy bleeding
- Suicidal thoughts or self-harm
- Signs of a stroke or seizure
- Severe allergic reactions
- Head or eye injuries
- Loss of consciousness
- Coughing or vomiting blood
- Drug overdose or poisoning
- Injuries from domestic violence or sexual assault
- Babies needing immediate care

Go to urgent care for issues like:

- Sprains or strains
- Minor burns or rashes
- Minor cuts that may need stitches
- Mild allergic reactions or asthma symptoms
- Painful or frequent urination
- Abscesses, blisters, or minor skin infections
- Nausea, vomiting, or dehydration
- Chest & sinus congestion, coughing, & flu/cold symptoms
- Fever & body aches
- Insect or animal bites
- Minor fractures & injuries that need to be seen with an X-ray
- Minor car accident or workers' comp injuries
