Vernon Center I genuinely feel Chase Brexton wants to help underserved populations, and they walk the walk. In my experiences, this is the first facility to encompass so many resources in one building to reach patient needs including the food pantry, dentistry, behavioral health, pharmacy, primary care, and many other facilities. I feel like I can have an impact caring for patients, overcoming the many gaps in healthcare affecting underserved populations. I grew up in an inner city and as a person of color, child of immigrants. I've seen firsthand both in my personal experiences and others working in EMS, primary care, and hospice the many barriers to access healthcare for underserved populations. For our patients, I bring the understanding only formed through both experiencing hardship and trying to help others navigate it.
