Chase Brexton Health Care will improve access to its services for Anne Arundel residents with significant expansions to its Glen Burnie Center. The expansions, already underway, include the remodeling of more than 7,500 square feet of space at Glen Burnie Center, as well as the relocation and expansion of the center's pharmacy to the first floor of 200 Hospital Drive. Once complete, the renovation will add thousands of square feet of additional space for primary care and behavioral health services, as well as the addition of a food pantry for on-site food distribution as part of the Every Meal Matters program. “This expansion will make an enormous impact on our ability to serve the Anne Arundel County community,” said Alexa Milanytch, Chase Brexton’s Assistant Vice President for Philanthropy. “Today, the Center serves more than 11,000 patients, and this expansion will significantly increase access to care by allowing us to serve an additional 2,840 patients." The renovations were made possible thanks to a generous $350,000 grant from The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation, as well as support from the State of Maryland.
