Columbia Center Patients
Appointments
You will continue to see your Chase Brexton provider at Columbia Center.
Delivery
You will go to the admissions desk through the main entrance of the Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center:

At Howard County Medical Center, mom, baby, and family will experience:
- Dedicated obstetrical nurses who will be with you and your labor coach every step of the way
- Secure labor and delivery room with a private bathroom, complete with a shower and hairdryer, television, CD player and comfortable seating area.
- Maternal care rooms with private bathrooms and other home-like amenities
- Separate in-room accommodations for partners or support persons so they can stay with you and your baby

Glen Burnie Center Patients
Appointments

Delivery
You will go directly to the labor and delivery unit at University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center (BWMC) located across the street from Glen Burnie Center:

At BWMC, the labor and delivery unit features luxurious amenities for mom, baby and family, include:
- Spacious labor, delivery and recovery rooms
- Private bathrooms with whirlpool tubs

- Dedicated operating rooms for Cesarean births.

Appointments
You will see University of Maryland Medical Center’s (UMMC) midwives and have your appointments at Chase Brexton’s Mt. Vernon Center: 1111 North Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21201.
Delivery
You will go directly to the labor and delivery unit at UMMC:

At UMMC, the labor and delivery unit features:
- Large, private labor rooms to accommodate both mother and baby
- Labor rooms with bathtubs for pain management
- Beds for partners to stay the night with mom and baby
- Evaluation of newborn right at the mother’s bedside so the family is part of the experience

Free Stork’s Nest Program
