By the third trimester, you will be getting ready to have your baby! You may feel excited - even a little anxious!

DELIVERY: You will go to the admissions desk through the main entrance of the Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center:

At Howard County Medical Center, mom, baby, and family will experience:
- Dedicated obstetrical nurses who will be with you and your labor coach every step of the way
- Secure labor and delivery room with a private bathroom, complete with a shower and hairdryer, television, CD player and comfortable seating area.
- Maternal care rooms with private bathrooms and other home-like amenities
- Separate in-room accommodations for fathers or support persons so they can stay with you and your baby

- Spacious labor, delivery and recovery rooms

Take advantage of University of Maryland Medical Center's free Stork’s Nest program to help you have a healthy pregnancy and get ready for your new baby. The program includes:

- Large, private labor rooms to accommodate both mother and baby
- Labor rooms with bathtubs for pain management
