For people living with HIV, the Ryan White Program offers support.
The Ryan White Program is available to nearly anyone living with HIV in the state of Maryland. Your Chase Brexton Health Care Case Manager will help you determine your eligibility.
In general, you are eligible to receive support if you:
- Are living with HIV
- Are a resident of Maryland
- Have a total household income of less than or equal to 500% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL)
- Pursue available public or private health insurance
What is 500% of the FPL? Your household income is a combined total of all earnings of those in your household plus the number of people in your household. For Ryan White benefits, the totals below represent the highest amount of eligible income by household size. (NOTE: These amounts change every year in mid-January.)
2025 500% FPL:
| Number of People in Household | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 |
| Total Income | $78,250 | $105,750 | $133,250 | $160,750 | $188,250 | $215,750 | $243,250 | $270,750 |
All percentage levels are listed on this document on the Health & Human Services (HHS) website.
