Local sponsors and community partners will join Chase Brexton Health Care in Ending the HIV Epidemic at the Baltimore AIDS Walk & Music Festival this spring.

The Baltimore AIDS Walk & Music Festival is presented by Chase Brexton and Gilead, with support from Gold Sponsors M&T Bank and Verizon; Silver Sponsor CareFirst; Bronze Sponsors The Annie E. Casey Foundation, Ironmark, Priority Partners, United Healthcare, Devaney & Associates; and Copper Sponsors Confido, BKD CPAs & Advisors, RxBenefits, Truist, and Welltower.

Additional support is provided by CBIZ and StoneBridge Advisors at the Ruby Laces level, and in-kind sponsors Home Depot Bel Air, inkAgfx, and Wegman’s.

Proceeds from the AIDS Walk & Music Festival Baltimore will support the HIV and AIDS programs offered by Chase Brexton and its Community Partners, including assistance with medications, case management services, and medical care. Community partners for this year’s event include the JACQUES Initiative, John G. Bartlett Specialty Practice, and the Tuerk House.

“Maryland and Baltimore’s HIV and AIDS diagnosis rates far exceed the rest of the country,” said Alexa Milanytch, Development Director for Chase Brexton. “The generous support of our walkers, donors, and sponsors will help strengthen and expand programs to reduce HIV tranmissions in Baltimore and across Maryland and End the Epidemic.”

Participants can register to walk, or start a team and raise funds with their friends, at www.BaltimoreAIDSwalk.org. The Community Partner program offers other non-profit organizations offering HIV services the chance to join the event and keep half of the funds they raise; learn more here.

For more than four decades, Chase Brexton has maintained a leading role in battling HIV/AIDS. Now a multi-faceted health center offering a continuum of care to a diverse community, Chase Brexton continues to provide comprehensive HIV treatment and prevention services plus HIV-targeted case management services.
