Chase Brexton Health Care will construct an additional medical clinic at its Mt. Vernon Center in Baltimore thanks to a generous grant from the Middendorf Foundation.

The grant will help Chase Brexton expand its capacity to serve low-income households by onboarding new medical providers and clinic support staff.

“We are enormously grateful for The Middendorf Foundation’s continued support,” said David Cornell, DNP, site medical director of Mt. Vernon Center. “This grant will allow us to better serve our community here in Baltimore City and meet the ever-growing demand for affordable, accessible health care.”

The Middendorf Foundation was founded in 1953 by J. William Jr. and Alice Carter Middendorf to support institutions and projects in their areas of interest within the State of Maryland. The Foundation’s primary interests are capital projects in the Greater Baltimore area, education, healthcare, social services, the environment, historic preservation and arts & culture.
