(4/30/23) Join us in celebrating our team members who marked 10 years or more of service to Chase Brexton in April!

Morgan says, "Our patients, they have been my driving force since April 10, 2006."

Andrea Speedie
Staff Physican
12 years

Andrea says, "I feel like so many interactions in our society are a struggle to fit people and their problems into the boxes we create, constructing boundaries and othering.  Chase Brexton provides a space where I can have a patient feel heard, understood and seen as a whole person; and where I know my team will treat that person with the same understanding and respect. With those barriers gone, I feel like I can help patients get past the front door and really get to the heart of what they need to feel better."

Emily Engel
Grants Manager
12 years

Emily says, "My work at Chase Brexton is deeply-rooted in my belief that healthcare is a right and not a privilege. As someone born and raised in Baltimore, where the availability of healthcare providers is more than abundant, I can confirm that being denied care within your own community is devastating. It is not only detrimental to physical and emotional health, but also has lasting impacts on one’s ability to ask for care in the future, let alone trust the healthcare community. Being able to work at an organization dedicated to expanding access to care for all populations is why I remain committed to my work at Chase Brexton and the mission of the organization."

Also celebrating this month: Alicia Moore, Medical Assistant, with 13 years of service.
