(2/29/24) With the generous support of the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County, The Institute for Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion (EDI) at Chase Brexton organized EDI training courses throughout 2023 for the Chase Brexton Glen Burnie Team.
57 staff members, both clinical and nonclinicial participated in the following trainings (total of nine session):
- Burnout Breakthrough
- Foundations of EDI
- How to Recognize and Respond to Microaggressions
- Understanding Your Patient's Context and Trust
One attendee commented, "It [Burnout Breakthrough] was both casual and informative. The presenter had great energy and the interactive elements were well timed!"
The Institute for EDI was excited to provide these impactful trainings and looks forward to expanding staff training in the future.
