Chase Brexton Health Care patients will benefit from a $82,231 grant awarded to the community health center earlier this month by PNC Charitable Trust.
This grant will cover multiple capital expenses including $60,000 toward the purchase of new EKG machines. Along with an earlier $74,000 grant from CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, these machines will support Chase Brexton's clinical quality metrics by supporting our efforts to increase the percentage of primary care patients diagnosed with hypertension, who have controlled blood pressure, and maintaining the percentage of primary care patients diagnosed with Ischemic Vascular Disease who are currently taking Aspirin or Anti-Thrombotic Therapy.
The PNC grant also includes funds for additional Phreesia tablets, as well as additional funds for other IT needs.
Thank you to PNC Charitable Trust for this important grant!
